GIS ANALYST

ZHL Engineers Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented GIS Analyst to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to support engineering and infrastructure projects through spatial analysis, digital mapping, and geospatial data management.

Key Responsibilities:
> Analyse and interpret spatial data using GIS software
> Develop, maintain, and update digital maps and geospatial databases
> Perform spatial analysis and produce thematic maps and visualisations
> Integrate GIS datasets and convert CAD data into GIS formats
> Prepare technical reports and GIS deliverables
> Maintain an organised digital repository of maps and spatial data
Requirements:

Eligibility Criteria:
> Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Geography, Surveying, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
> Minimum 2–3 years of relevant GIS experience
> Proficiency in ArcGIS, QGIS, Global Mapper, and AutoCAD/CAD
> Experience with PostGIS, PostgreSQL, SQLite, or MySQL is an advantage
> Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
> Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team
